Fine views from the cabin were amazing.
We faced numerous issues that left us frustrated. First of all, the Wi-Fi was virtually nonexistent in our room. The check-in process was a nightmare. We weren't provided with any instructions regarding the national park pass, forcing us to waste even more time at the Information Centre. To top it all off, the laundry area was oddly small for such a large hotel, and there just weren't enough machines available.

We enjoyed rooms with great view. The location in a really quiet area was marvellous and there were a market and a bakery nearby.

The setting was great and a beautiful building and surrounds. Having a glass of wine on the deck close to sunset was stunning.
In general the staff were great. We stayed for two nights but separated by a couple of days while we walked the 3 day circuit. We could not fault the first stay. Restaurant meal was lovely. The second stay was marred by a couple of small instances. The first was the arrival of about 20 people who took over the main deck, complete with their esky of champagne and cd player. It appeared to be a memorial service of some kind, people crying and the 'Circle of Life' playing. Other guests on the deck looked uncomfortable. Apparently the hotel were unaware that this was going on and not sanctioned by them. The second instance was with the bistro. They have several menus during the day with cut off times. We asked if they would serve us an antipasto plate 6 minutes after the cut off time and were told very emphatically-NO. I asked if there was something similar on the dinner menu that we could purchase, again no. The bar was unable to serve us anything (only drinks) and so we went into town for dinner.Prices for the dinner menu in the bistro were similar to the restaurant. A more casual, cheaper menu would work better in the bistro. A main of fish was still about $29 and then you would need to add sides to that as well.

Amazing and lovely location near the beautiful Richardson's beach, and the bay on the road, easy check-in. Also, to the local attractions. Recently renovated room with extremely comfy bed and pleasantocean views. Extensive full English breakfast - great slices of fresh bread and cereals.

Staying in a Coastal Pavilion was a dream come true. The modern design and spacious deck offered amazing sea views. The included complimentary whiskey and homemade chocolates were good surprises. The turn down service added a touch of luxury. Dining was excellent-both restaurants served delicious meals, and the staff's attentiveness left a great impression. I found the pricing a bit steep compared to some amenities. The lack of more family-friendly activities on site could be improved. Despite these minor points, I would definitely return.

we had a fantastic stay and were upgraded to a premium spa cabin which was fabulous for our holiday feeling. the wildlife come very close (up to our screen door) to say hello and are very cute, possum's mainly. I would go back and spend longer than 2 days as a place to relax and unwind - great food, location, surroundings and as we were upgraded, faciltiies!

The Premier Cabin was a cozy retreat with fine views over Richardson's Beach. The complimentary mini-bar was a good surprise. The local wildlife came right to the windows at dusk, magical. Plus, the food was delicious!
A bit pricey for the amenities offered.

Friendly staff, professional and a well set out lodge. The room was amazing. No tv is a fantastic option in the rooms, takes away all distractions!

The locations around the lodging are very nice. The nearby beaches like Richardson's Beach invite peaceful strolls. Dinner options include a good restaurant with tasty food, and the ability to bring fresh seafood back to your room for an al fresco meal adds a nice touch.
While I felt a bit of privacy, the cabin itself lacked that cozy, homely vibe. No cushions or decorations, and it could get chilly at night. The Wi-Fi struggled to keep us connected, a bit frustrating since we spent more time in the main lodge due to the cold and the cabin's dated interior.

On our arrival to Freycinet Lodge we were fortunate enough to be offered an upgrade to a Spa Suite which we gladly accepted and thoroughly enjoyed. The room was magnificent with every comfort provided. The spa was comfortable and the view from our private balcony special. The amenities at the Lodge made our stay even more enjoyable; the fireside bar and lounge made the cold disappear very quickly and the staff from the reception - to the restaurant - and the room staff were very friendly and approachable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Freycinet Lodge, we loved the Spa Suite and when we next visit Tasmania we will definitely be putting time aside to enjoy another stay at the Freycinet Lodge. Thankyou.
